Come start your day in San Francisco with us, as we take your on our amazing Muir Woods & Sausalito Tour. Muir Woods is home of the spectacular Coastal Redwood Sequoias, the tallest species of trees in the world! On our Muir Woods tour from San Francisco you will have the rare chance to walk or hike at your own pace amongst these beautiful Sequoia trees. You can take a brisk walk up the sides of the valley and get near the tops of the trees, or you can take it easy and stroll along the mostly flat valley floor along Redwood Creek. The mornings are often cool and crisp, and you will always remember the clean, fresh, fragrant air filled with the scent of the Bay Laurel trees covered in moss beneath the high canopy of the Redwoods.

Our Muir Woods tours from San Francisco spends 1 hour in Muir Woods giving you ample time to enjoy the beauty of the Coastal Sequoia Redwood trees. After the Muir Woods tour, we begin our return to San Francisco, stopping in the Bayside town of Sausalito. On our Sausalito tours you will have time to enjoy the San Francisco Bay view or visit the shops and art galleries of Sausalito, and maybe have some coffee or ice cream. Our Muir Woods and Sausalito tour will then head back to San Francisco, crossing the Golden Gate on the way back to your San Francisco hotel drop off. 9:00 - 9.45 AM	Drive over the Golden Gate Bridge and through the marin Headlands to Muir Woods National Park
9:45 - 11:00 AM	Explore the beautiful Muir Woods National Park for one hour giving you ample time to enjoy the beauty of the Coastal Sequoia Redwood trees.
11:00 - 11:30 PM	Drive to Bayside town of Sausalito.
11:30 - 12:30 PM	Stroll along the bay or visit the shops and great art galleries

Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
Tour Guide Training & Substance Abuse Testing: Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and on providing an informative and interesting tour. Before being hired, we test our guides on safety driving in realistic situations around San Francisco they are also tested through an oral presentation of the material they will present to make sure that they provide a safe, knowledgeable and interesting tour.
