Yosemite Two-Day tour only. For the more independent travelers or campers out there, our Yosemite Two-Day Tour Only package provides the transportation and the tour, leaving you free to book your own accomodation in Yosemite National Park. The two day tour only includes a San Francisco Hotel pick-up, transportation to Yosemite National Park, a tour of Yosemite Valley and drop off at Yosemite Lodge, where you gain your independence, for 24 hours. Accomodations are not included in the Tour Only package so guests are free to make their own overnight arrangements at any of Yosemite National Park's top resorts or campsites!

Please note that the tour vehicle has limited space for luggage - so try to keep it small!

The next day, guests will meet another tour group at the same time at Yosemite Lodge, and from there, guests will be taken to a higher elevation in the park to visit the Tuolumne Giant Sequoia Trees. The evergreen sequoias found in this forest are amongst the largest living things on earth! After a visit to the Giant Sequoias guests will return to where the driver will drop you back to your hotel or hostel.

Overnight Yosemite National Park tours are a great way to spend time doing activities that our guided 1-day tours don’t have time for. Why not try a guided hiking tour or White water rafting! Or you can go for a horseback or bicycle ride around Yosemite Valley, all at your own leisure. In winter, some locations are inaccessible, but the scenery is completely different – the Valley itself is a winter waterfall wonderland, and there are times when you might feel you have the place to yourself.

Winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads, are recommended.
We will always do what we can to make your trip enjoyable, but safety is “Job 1”, so the route and itinerary may be changed due to snow depth, road conditions, construction projects and detours.
Note: The Giant Sequoias hike on the Yosemite Tour is dependent on snow levels and trail conditions from October to April.

Yosemite Two Day Tour - Day One - Times Approximate

6:00 - 7:00 AM	Pick-ups start in Fisherman's Wharf Area and continue in downtown San Francisco.
7:00 - 7:20 AM	West Oakland Bart Station pickup (if necessary).
7:20 - 7:40 AM	Dublin/Pleasanton Bart Station pickup (if necessary).
7:40 - 9:00 AM	Continuing east, see the windmills and descend into the San Joaquin valley and stop for a break and a snack.
9:15 AM - 11:00 PM	Begin the climb into the foothills, through gold country, and up into the Sierra Nevada range and Yosemite National Park.
11:00 - 1:00 PM	Explore Yosemite's many amazing sights with an informative, narrated tour from your guide. Be amazed by El Capitan, the Tunnel View, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more! Enjoy a mini-hike to Bridalveil Falls and plenty of photo stops around the Yosemite Valley.
1:00 - 6:00 PM	Your independence begins. Check out your options, check your bags, and check out Yosemite! And check the YARTS schedule if you are staying outside the Park!
Evening	Check into your accommodation THAT YOU MADE YOURSELF, have dinner, relax, and get a good night’s sleep so you can get up early for another exciting day in Yosemite.

Yosemite Two Day Tour - Day Two - Times Approximate

7:00 - 8:00 AM	Get up early, check out, grab your bags and get on the bus if needed, and get started!
9:30 AM - 1:00 PM	Check your bags at Yosemite Lodge, and spend the morning in Yosemite on your own. This is a good day to do one or 2 short hikes, like Mirror Lake or Lower Yosemite Falls. Grab a lunch, and get back to Yosemite Lodge. IMPORTANT: CALL US TOLL-FREE AT 1-866-231-3752 TO CONFIRM PICK-UP TIME AND PLACE!
1:30 - 4:00 PM	Un-check your bags and meet your new friends and new driver. Explore more of Yosemite with the group. This includes driving time to take an optional hike in the forest and see the Giant Sequoias. (May be omitted due to snow levels and trail conditions from October to April – we’ll spend more time in the Valley instead.)
4:00 - 6:00 PM	Start the return trip, descending from the Sierras, with more great scenery as we follow the sun to the west.
6:00 - 6:30 PM	Stop for a break and a bite to eat.
6:30 - 8:30 PM	Continue back to San Francisco, enjoying views of the sunset over the East Bay hills, or the Peninsula and the city lights.
8:30 - 9:00 PM	The Yosemite tour ends at your San Francisco Hotel front door.

Strict Quality Control: Our quality control supervises three sources that you interact with during your tour: 1) Our reservations staff is diverse and we count in any given day with people who speak 5-6 different languages; they have all been on our tours to experience them first hand and we always have a manager on duty 7 days a week. 2) Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and are evaluated and financially compensated based on the customer tour reviews. 3) Our vehicles are frequently inspected by our drivers, mechanics and the California Highway Patrol to ensure they are in top mechanical shape.
Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
Tour Guide Training & Substance Abuse Testing: Our tour guides are extensively trained on both safety driving techniques and on providing an informative and interesting tour. Before being hired, we test our guides on safety driving in realistic situations around San Francisco they are also tested through an oral presentation of the material they will present to make sure that they provide a safe, knowledgeable and interesting tour.
