The Cedar Lodge is located 8 miles from the entrance of Yosemite Park and is great for those who want to experience the wonders of Yosemite with vacation style amenities. Take the YARTS (not included in price) from and to Yosemite Valley, and then use the FREE Hybrid Shuttles to get around and see the sights! All rooms have a view of the mountains or the river, and have in-room modem access, phone, cable TV & HBO, spa tubs and family units with kitchenettes. Private beach access to the Merced River is available, as well as the indoor and outdoor pools to relax. Enjoy a drink after your day exploring Yosemite National Park at their Cocktail Lounge and have a delicious diner at their 50's-era Diner.

Tour includes pickup from your San Francisco Hotel, transportation to Yosemite National Park, Yosemite Valley Tour and drop off at Yosemite Lodge, where you gain your independence, for 24 hours. Tour van has limited space for luggage, so try to keep it small! The next day, meet another tour group at the same time and place, and finish the day with them and return to San Francisco. Overnight Yosemite National Park tours are a great way to spend time doing activities that our guided 1-day tours don’t have time for, such as rafting down the Merced river, learning rock climbing on the beautiful Yosemite granite cliffs or relaxing on an open tram tour of Yosemite Valley all at your own leisure. In winter, it is still a great time to visit. Some locations are inaccessible, but the scenery is completely different – the Valley itself is a winter waterfall wonderland. For someone willing to bundle up and wear the right shoes, and get some exercise, you will be greatly rewarded with the natural beauty, and there are times when you might feel you have the place to yourself.

Winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads, are recommended.

Yosemite Two Day Tour - Day One - Times Approximate

6:00 - 7:00 AM	Pick-ups start in Fisherman's Wharf Area and continue in downtown San Francisco.
7:00 - 7:20 AM	West Oakland Bart Station pickup (if necessary).
7:20 - 7:40 AM	Dublin/Pleasanton Bart Station pickup (if necessary).
7:40 - 9:00 AM	Continuing east, see the windmills and descend into the San Joaquin valley and stop for a break and a snack.
9:15 - 11:00 AM	Begin the climb into the foothills, through gold country, and up into the Sierra Nevada range and Yosemite National Park.
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM	Explore Yosemite's many amazing sights with an informative, narrated tour from your guide. Be amazed by El Capitan, the Tunnel View, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more! Enjoy a mini-hike to Bridalveil Falls and plenty of photo stops around the Yosemite Valley.
1:00 - 5:00 PM	Check out your options, check your bags, and check out Yosemite! And check your YARTS schedule for departure times, because you are staying outside the Park!
Evening	Check into the hotel, have a nice dinner, maybe spend the evening in the Spa, and then get a good night’s sleep so you can get up early for another exciting day in Yosemite.

7:00 - 8:00 AM	Get up early, check out, grab your bags, and walk a few feet to the YARTS stop, so you can get started.
8:00 AM- 1:00 PM	Spend the morning in Yosemite on your own. Grab a lunch, and get back to Yosemite Lodge. IMPORTANT: CALL US TOLL-FREE AT 1-866-231-3752 TO CONFIRM PICK-UP TIME AND PLACE!
1:30 - 4:00 PM	Meet your new friends and new driver. Explore more of Yosemite with the group.
4:00 - 6:00 PM	Start the return trip, descending from the Sierras, with more great scenery as we follow the sun to the west.
6:00 - 6:30 PM	Stop for a break and a bite to eat.
6:30 - 8:30 PM	Continue back to San Francisco, enjoying views of the sunset over the East Bay hills, or the Peninsula and the city lights.
8:30 - 9:00 PM	The Yosemite tour ends at your San Francisco Hotel front door.

Vehicle Safety Inspection: Safety is paramount in our industry and one of the biggest safety components in the tours we provide are our vehicles. Extranomical's fleet includes vans and mini-buses. Our vehicles are inspected constantly; first in the morning when the tour guide begins his/her day; second throughout the day the tour guide is verifying fluid levels, tire pressure and the general operation of the vehicle is monitored throughout the day. The vehicles are also inspected regularly (at least every 10,000) miles by our vehicle maintenance staff and also by independent certified mechanics during their routine maintenance. If that were not all, we also go through a thorough inspection performed by the California Highway Patrol once a year.
