Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Tour

Total Yosemite Experience & Giant Sequoias Tour

Our one-day combination of Yosemite National Park & the Giant Sequoias Tour from Yosemite Falls is a great way to get the most out of your Yosemite Tour. Our Total Yosemite Experience One-Day Tour maximizes the time you spend in Yosemite National Park by starting early and traveling efficiently in a 15-passenger van or 36-passenger minibus. This allows us to cover both Yosemite Valley & the Giant Sequoias in one day and spend more time in the park (at least five hours) than any other Yosemite tour available. In the Yosemite Valley leg, we generally stop to see El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls and Inspiration Point (aka Tunnel View). Unlike most tours, we drive to higher altitudes and lesser traveled parts of Yosemite National Park. For example, you may have a chance to hike (two miles round-trip) in the evergreen forest to see a Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias (weather and trail conditions permitting), the world's largest living things.

Choose our Total Yosemite Experience One-Day Tour to explore Yosemite with a smaller group, with experienced and informative guides, with a more personalized and exceptional service, and to end your day with an unforgettable experience. We will meet and even surpass your expectations.

Winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads, are recommended.
We will always do what we can to make your trip enjoyable, but safety is “Job 1”, so the route and itinerary
may be changed due to snow depth, road conditions, construction projects and detours.
Note: The Giant Sequoias hike on the Yosemite Tour is dependent on snow levels
and trail conditions from October to April.

Total Yosemite Experience℠ & Giant Sequoias

We had a great day with Roman as our guide. The pace of the tour was enjoyable and we had plenty of time to see what we wanted to see as well as rest when needed. Roman's knowledge of the area and commentary was great!

This was a two day trip so Lars was guide on way out and Ross on the way back. Excellent information on the history of San Francisco, California, and the Central Valley on the trip up. Also really good information on the Yosemite Park. Lars was careful to ensure everyone understood the implications of the walk down to the sequoias and back. On return leg Ross provided good information on, and a chance to view, climbers on El Capitan and a view from Treasure Island.

Warm, personable and knowledge tour guide. Safe driving and goes the extra mile :)

My friends and I had a great time at Yosemite. Our tour guide Ross was amazing. He was funny, intelligent and provided us with a great amount of information. We participated in several tours while in San Francisco and Ross was by far our favorite. I would highly recommend booking this tour, and requesting to be in a group with Ross. The only negative would be the amount of time in each location. Yosemite has so much to offer it is easily to get distracted by the beautiful views. Ross went out of his way to keep the group on schedule and even show us some extra views of the climbers. It is an extremely long day so I do understand the time constraints. I would highly recommend booking the tour!

I was picked up on time. The guide gave some interesting information en-route to our first stop. The time allowed for breakfast was a good amount, not rushed and not sitting for too long. The walk to the giant sequoias was tough - about 20 minutes downhill but because of the altitude and steepness, it took about 50 minutes to get back up. I wasn't aware that it was going to be so challenging. I enjoyed the picture stops as we entered Yosemite and got some great pics. We had a couple of hours in the valley floor but I wish we had longer. There was time to do a walk and have some lunch but I feel I've only seen a fraction of Yosemite and what it has to offer. I would definitely say that people should try and stay a couple of nights rather than doing the day trip. The journey back to San Francisco was long as there weren't the scenic stops. We did stop for a while at the same place we had breakfast. It would have been nice to stop somewhere different for a change but it was a good chance to stretch your legs and grab a drink.

It's a four hour trip EACH WAY to Yosemite but well worth it!!!!! If you don't want an 8 hour bus ride, then don't do this tour. I don't understand how people can complain about the bus ride when a little research will tell you what to expect. Ross did a fantastic job as our guide. Everything about this tour was great. The sequoias, El Cap, the falls, it was all exquisitely beautiful. I've read reviews about guides being pushy about tips and being fanatical about staying on schedule. While Ross did his best to keep everyone on schedule, he wasn't obnoxious about it, and he didn't harp on the tip issue either. Ross also took us up close to El Cap to watch some climbers. It was all awesome, and I would highly recommend this tour!
– Amanda D. on 06/16/2015

Ross was awesome. He greeted everyone happily in the morning and throughout the day answered everyone's questions. He kept the tour on track timewise so we could see as much as we possibly could in such a short time. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and you could tell how passionate he was about the park. We even got to stop and view the skyline of SF at sunset as an extra bonus! He definitely went above and beyond to make it a great day. And the park...well that speaks for itself! It was a beautiful day. The mini bus was comfortable, clean and a nice way to travel.
– Michael D. on 06/15/2015

We were picked up at our hotel at the exact time indicated when we made our reservations. Our guide Don was informative throughout and made our tour well worthwhile.
– RENZO O. on 06/03/2015

It was great. Yosemite is just unbelievable, one on the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in my life. Then I realized that a 1 day trip to Yosemite Park isn't the best if you do want to fully enjoy this awesome place. I am sure I will organize a new trip with a 2 days stay in the park. Ross was great!! Positive dude.
